GINA M. BOTWINICK


Gina M. Botwinick received her Bachelor of Arts degree in English from California State University, Northridge in 2003, and her juris doctorate from Ventura College of Law in 2007. Ms. Botwinick joined the firm in the spring of 2009, having previously worked as a litigation associate at a small law firm in Oxnard, California. Ms. Botwinick has a wide range of litigation experience, having represented plaintiffs and defendants in claims involving premises liability, personal injury, wrongful death, medical malpractice, construction defect, and business and employment issues, and the defense of large loss claims. Prior to becoming an attorney, Ms. Botwinick worked as a paralegal for the litigation department of one of the nation's largest liability insurers, where she was exposed to a wide range of insurance defense litigation. Ms. Botwinick has distinguished herself in the analysis of insurance coverage matters as well, particularly in the area of landlord-tenant and habitability lawsuits, which often involve numerous, complex coverage issues.
